Energy leaders flag possible delay in move to five minute settlement, in letter to COAG Energy Council

Leaders of the AEMC, AEMO and AER have come together to propose that the implementation of five minute settlement be delayed by 12 months in response to the impacts of COVID-19 on the energy industry.

COAG’s Energy Security Board releases discussion paper on two-sided energy market

On the 20th of April, the COAG’s Energy Council released a discussion paper exploring how to transition to a ‘two-sided market’ for electricity in Australia’s National Electricity Market as part of the transition to ‘NEM 2.0’.
