In accordance with the requirements of clauses 5.13.1 (g) – (h) of the the National Electricity Rules (NER), SA Power Networks have released their Demand Side Engagement document. The document details SA Power Network’s strategy for:
enabling the connection of embedded generators to their network;
engaging with non-network solution providers;
considering the use of non-network solutions to resolve an identified need.
SA Power Networks also encourages any party that has an interest in the long term planning, operation and development of the electricity distribution network in South Australia to register their interest with SA Power Networks via the Demand Side Engagement Register.
