SA Water share insights on their journey from being a large energy customer to becoming a sophisticated ‘self-retailer’


Over on WattClarity, Robert May and Ashley Nicholls of SA Water yesterday published a case study in which they detailed the specifications and functionality of the sophisticated Energy Management System (EMS) that SA Water has developed.

The article follows on from a presentation that they delivered to the EESA back in September which outlines their 7 year journey from being a traditional large retail customer to becoming a ‘self-retailer’ as a registered AEMO market participant where they now act as the retailer to internal customers.
