A trial that went live today in Townsville represents the first demonstration of automated demand response in Australia. Today Greensync announced that it has deployed its cloud-based DR project with Ergon Energy as part of an 18 month automated demand response trial. Greensync in collaboration with Honeywell, have developed OpenADR enabled technology that captures data from several sources across Ergon Energy (including building and substation around Townsville).
